Dallas Burgeson
Dallas Burgeson serves as Lead Pastor with a deep love for both God and people, and a steady commitment to helping others grow in a real, lasting relationship with Christ. With over eight years of experience as a Lead Pastor—and twelve years prior serving as an Assistant and Associate Pastor—Dallas brings both wisdom and humility to his leadership.
At the center of his faith is a passage that has shaped his life for nearly two decades: John 15. The picture of the vine and the branches continues to guide how he understands what it means to walk with Jesus—not as a checklist of spiritual activity, but as a life of staying deeply connected to Him. Over time, that connection has revealed something even deeper: that God calls His people to bear fruit that truly lasts. And often, that kind of fruit grows along a road that isn’t always the easiest or most familiar—but is always worth it.
Dallas is passionate about seeing people encounter God in meaningful ways. He believes there is something powerful about paying attention to what the Holy Spirit is doing in the present moment—in people’s lives, in the church, and in the world around us. For him, ministry is not just about leading services, but about stepping into what God is already doing and helping create environments where lives are changed and Heaven feels close. It’s something he sees happening every day, both inside and outside the walls of the church, and it’s what makes this calling so meaningful to him.
At home, Dallas has been married to his wife, Jerilyn, for over 20 years. Together, they’ve built a life centered around faith and family, raising their four children—Glori, Elinor, Daniel, and Ansel—alongside their energetic weiner dog, Hoover.
When he’s not at church, you’ll likely find Dallas recharging in a few of his favorite ways—playing or writing music, riding motorcycles through the woods, or getting lost in a great book. Whether in quiet moments or wide-open spaces, he finds joy in experiencing God’s creation and presence in everyday life.
Dallas is grateful to serve in this role and looks forward to walking alongside this church family as we continue growing, connecting, and bearing fruit that lasts.
